Beschreibung

Hi, we are Maxi (29y) and Roman (32y) from Berlin. :-) We quit our jobs and flat to go on a journey around the globe starting in July 2026 in Asia with no fixed date of coming back.

Roman use to have a startup in the area of veterinary and tech. Maxi comes from the creative industries and worked in the last years as a sustainability consultant. We are a married couple with different skills and backgrounds but share the same vision of life, values, our humour and the childlike curiosity!

Although we have just started on workaway we do have some experience living and working with different people on projects such as reforestation, litter picking groups, farm work or house sitting. Roman use to be very active on Couchsurfing for years as a host but also surfer. Also he is a volunteer firefighter.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Our educational/university background is business and sustainable fashion design.

From our profession we combine a variety of skills in the business environment as we both work as consultants. Roman use to have his startup so working on business models, sales, marketing, fund raising but also team development and leadership.

Maxi is skilled at creative tasks such as website design, print materials, drawing and painting art, but also professional sewing and working with textiles in general. Roman has hands-on experience as volunteer firefighter, farm work, gardening and also heavy work at home such as demolition.

We like to learn and apply new things and speak English, German and nearly fluent Russian.

As humans we are also happy to cook or clean. And overall to listen and learn :-)

As we mentioned before a childlike curiosity helps us to learn new things so in case there is something we have never tried we are eager to at least try it out!
