Hi Workaway community, I'm Sun, traveller from Malaysia currently travelling around Latin America. I started this travel with the purpose to learn more perspective and lifestyle from different cultures (which is opposite of mine), people, in order to give myself more choices to live a life I want. To me, this is a precious opportunity for observing, learning, growing and improving my inner self.

After 8 months of travelling in Latin America, I becoming more assured of what I love doing. At the same time, i feel like giving back something to the community, as I received so much love and pure kindness from people, nature, animals while travelling. It makes me realised that this world is shared.

I love being with nature, animals and pure hearted people, where we can have real connection, less city, less distraction, less consumption, less society standard. At the same time, i'm still learning how to maintain the peace in me while around in the city and distractions. But for now, nature and animals is good for me, to heal, to work with my inner self. It might sound selfish to travel and work with my inner self, but i believe in order to upbringing a healthy community, we ourselves needed to be paused chasing the outside world, and growing the inside world, in order to glow inside out.

I see workaway platform as a place where i can grow and pass down all the kindness i received, where a place everyone shared.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Although this is my first time on workaway platforms, but i been volunteering for eco living projects in farming works. I also volunteered in nature conservation projects for dolphin research field trip in my country.

I studied in Agricultural management in University, but I dropped out and decided to work and travel to dive into the "real" school and hand on experiences.

I'm fluent in Chinese, English, Malay language, currently speak a little Spanish.

I have an international driving license.

I can cook asian food such as, malay, chinese, thai, indian, japanese and korean.

I have a tablet and camera to work with photography, videography and some IT works.

I experienced in organising event.

I experienced in working as kindergarten teacher.

All in all, i'm open for gaining new experience and learn fast.
