🌍 About Me: Soukaina (The Atlas Soul)

Hello! I’m Soukaina from Morocco, and I’m a passionate traveller with a real sense of wanderlust. I like to think of myself as an “Atlas Soul”—inspired by the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, I strive to stay strong, embrace new experiences, and find peace in every new horizon, just like my name, Soukaina, which means serenity.

I recently completed my Master’s degree in Communication, Cultural Management and Diplomacy. Coming from Tangier, the gateway between two worlds, exchange and hospitality are truly in my DNA. I joined Workaway because I believe the best way to discover a country is through its people, culture and everyday life.

I am a respectful, responsible and open-minded person who enjoys learning new things and sharing experiences with others. Whether it’s helping around the house, preparing meals, caring for pets, or simply bringing positive energy, I’m always happy to contribute while learning from those around me.

I look forward to meeting kind hosts, sharing cultures, creating meaningful memories and becoming a helpful part of your project.

I recently completed my Master’s degree in Communication, Cultural Management and Diplomacy. Through my studies, I developed strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. I enjoy connecting with people from different cultures, adapting to new environments, and learning from every experience.

My native language is Arabic, and I also speak Spanish. I am currently improving my English and French, and I always enjoy language and cultural exchange.

🏡 Hospitality & Cooking

Hospitality is a core part of Moroccan culture, and making people feel welcome comes naturally to me. I enjoy keeping spaces clean, organized, and cozy. I can help with household tasks, preparing simple meals, and everyday chores. I also love cooking and would be delighted to share Moroccan cuisine by preparing traditional dishes such as tagine, couscous, harira and msemmen. I also enjoy learning new recipes and cooking together with my hosts.

I enjoy spending time in nature, hiking, and caring for pets. I am a respectful, responsible, and open-minded person who is always happy to help, adapt to new environments, and learn from the people around me.

  Yes. I prefer a simple diet based on fish, vegetables, fruits, and vegetarian dishes. I don’t drink alcohol or eat pork products. However, I am very flexible and independent, and I am always happy to prepare my own meals whenever necessary.
