Hello, I’m Sophie. I am friendly, chatty and positive and absolutely love an adventure! After being settled in London for the last 5 years my feet are getting pretty itchy so I'm keen to get back out there and Canada is my next step!

I’ve been lucky enough to have lived and worked in places like Spain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and have been on many holidays to europe.

I love meeting new people, animals, hiking, swimming, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

I currently work for a charity and have previously worked in animal care and hospitality.

I have worked as a live-in au pair twice and worked as a live-in volunteer on 2 animal sanctuaries. I have also done lots of dog/house sitting since being in London so I am very used to being a respectable guest and also getting stuck into any job that needs doing.

I’m comfortable with shared accommodation, remote locations, and love community living.

I’ve got my visa-approved for Canada and I'm available from late-June.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am extremely passionate about animals and have worked with them over the last 8 years. I love all things nature whether that's animals, landscaping or site maintenance I'd be keen to help.

I have worked on 2 animal sanctuaries as a live-in volunteer, worked as a live-in au pair 2x and since living in London (last 5 years) I have worked with dogs including some house-sits so I am used to being a respectful guest.

I am very easy going and happy to get stuck-in with whatever task needs completing. I have experience in animal care and handling however I'm always up for learning more. I also have some basic DIY skills - at one of the sanctuaries I built a shed. I also have a strong customer service background so I have great interpersonal skills.

Was noch ...

I am really into arts and crafts; I love drawing and sewing. These days I mostly just make gifts and cards for friends and family. I'd love to get more into videography and photography too.

I also have a degree in childhood studies (psychology and sociology) and have lots of childcare experience.
