Beschreibung

Hello hello! My name is Sofie, I'm a 23-year-old solo traveller looking to explore new countries, cultures and ways of living.
I like to think that life is like magic and the things that make it so are deep connections, serendipitous encounters and epic stories.

I started travelling in July 2021, right after I graduated as a social worker for disabled people.
I'd say I have a passion for people. I'm always seeking out for new friendships, encounters and experiences where I can open myself up to a new way of life!
Having a positive impact on others peoples life is what brings me happiness.

I'm always eager to learn and interested in a broad variety of things.
Also, I truly believe in the fact that the best parts of life are on the other side of your comfort zone.

I am hoping that workaway will create meaningful experiences and I'm looking forward to all the possibilities my travels will offer me. 🌞🌻

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I love everything that's outdoors - hiking, swimming, camping, kayaking,... you name it, I'm there.
Aside from that I really like taking photos - I'm for sure no pro, but I do really enjoy it and that's what matters, right?!
At home I love to cook and bake, especially for others.
Through my job as a social worker I have a lot of experience in working with adults and children with all kinds of disabilities. Living with three different families working as an Aupair has taught me lots of new skills regarding childcare.
Since my Family in Germany has a farm with more than 400 animals and many hectars of land, I also have some kmowledge about farming.

I have traveled to three different continents staying in hostels, families, workaways or with couchsurfing hosts. Feeling that sense of connection to people from all over the world has built my excitement even more for what workaway has to offer. ✨☁️
