I’m Sebastian, an open-minded and curious traveler from Germany with Ecuadorian roots. What motivates me most is learning from new cultures, meeting people with different perspectives, and being part of a community where we can share skills and experiences.

I enjoy working with my hands as much as with my mind - whether it’s helping with outdoor projects, cooking, gardening, or supporting with creative tasks like photography, videography, or social media. Creating something useful or beautiful together with others gives me a lot of energy and happiness.

Nature, music, and good conversations are important parts of my life. I like to keep active, stay positive, and bring humor into everyday situations. I’m always eager to contribute, learn new things, and leave a place better than I found it.

For me, Workaway is not only about traveling but also about building connections and giving back to the places that welcome me.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I completed a professional apprenticeship in a skilled trade, which gave me a solid background in DIY, repair, and general hands-on work. I enjoy fixing, building, and creating, and I’m confident with tools and practical projects.

I also have experience in gardening – my mother owned a Plant nursery, so I learned about plants, growing, and garden maintenance from an early age (though I'm not a professional in that field). I’ve also worked at local markets selling vegetables, so I’m comfortable with teamwork, customer interaction, and organizing produce.

In addition, I’m passionate about creativity and communication: I have experience in photography, videography, and social media content creation. I enjoy combining technical skills with creativity, and I’m happy to help with online promotion, visuals, or digital projects if needed.

Overall, I would describe myself as adaptable, motivated, and eager to learn. I enjoy both outdoor and indoor work and love to contribute wherever I can be useful.
