Beschreibung
My name is Sytze, 27 years old and living in the Netherlands.
Often described as kind hearted, calm and hard working.
In general i enjoy the calmer aspects of life, the outdoors, being in nature, having conversations and learning more about people.
But i also love going on adventures, sometimes without knowing where it will lead me. The past few years i've spent my summer vacations traveling on my motorcycle. Strapping a tent on the back and seeing where the day takes me. And with each year i find myself trying to get more independent. From staying in hostels and eating in restaurants to now sleeping wild in a tent and eating whatever i brought with me.
I currently work as a teacher in a primary school. I used to be in a totally different field of work (designing steel constructions) but decided to change ways.
Being around kids is something i really enjoy and luckily they also often take a quick liking to me.
A host with kids has my preference since i enjoy the dynamic, and playing with the kids ofcourse!
Through Workaway i hope to gain differing experiences. Meeting new people with different lifestyles, getting to know cultures through you. Learning new skills. Experiencing things totally different from my life back home.

Partly grew up on a farm which is a good base for practical skills i believe. And i really enjoy working in the outdoors.
Plenty of basic DIY experience and a good practical mind.
Spent a couple of summers painting houses, which i really enjoyed as well.
All in all i have plenty of experience working with my hands i don't mind getting dirty.
May not know everything but generally pick new things up pretty quickly. And you can always be sure i'm trying my best.
Able to work on my own once i've got the basics.
