Hi, my name is Saskia and I am from Germany. I grew up with my mum in a big house with garden and learned early to take care of chores and help around the house. When I was eight years I became big sister for first time. Later my dad got kids too and so I am experienced with siblings and patchwork family life. I have a big heart and a lot of love to give for another people and animals. I also grew up with cats and dogs. After moving out from moms home I had two cats by my own.

I studied social work in Bachelor of Arts and worked until this year as a social worker in hospital. I actually think there is way more to experience for me and I am graving for new adventures! I am very open minded and part of the Flinta Community. I want to live in another country and experience the mentality of people living and working in portugal. I am curious and helpful person. Even if I don’t have knowledge in detail about practical work like building or repairing something around the house i am open to learn and help wherever i can.

I feel connected to nature very and I think in actual society the bond and trust to earth is missing a lot. It's breaking my heart when kids don't know from what ingredients their choclate is made of and that spinach is not produced by machines. I like to interact with kids and educate them. For long time in my life I wanted to be teacher (Still that's a option for me). But also I like to be in conversations with elders because I think they have a lot to tell. I am very patient so I'd even listen the same story five times if it makes the other person happy.

I am ready to learn new languages, surfing and/or improve my yoga. I like fruits and veggies and mostly I live vegetarian or vegan.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I speak German and English fluently and I am ready to learn Portuguese or other languages and teach German for those who are interested.

I studied social work Bachelor of Arts and worked as a social worker in hospital. So I worked mostly with elderly people but I am also experienced in taking care of kids. I am big sister for 3 siblings and I worked 6 years in summer camp for kids 6-12 years. I am patient very and good listener for old and young.

Also I can take care of cats, dogs and small animals. I am fan of every animal and always would like to cuddle them. With plants it’s almost the same (I don’t cuddle them). My home is full of plants and I like growing them from seeds or multiple them. In summer I always help my family to grow our own veggies in garden.

I am creative person and like to work with wood. I don’t have special skill but I’d like to learn them. I like building up furniture or coloring rooms.

Was noch ...

I love playing games. No matter if that active like hide and seek or it’s about card/board games. It’s easy to get me excited for any kind activities. I like surfing, yoga, gardening, playing card games, hiking or other stuff. I was doing pole dance for some time and also played volleyball.
If you are looking for someone to party with or go for shopping, I am perfect choice too.
