Hey, I'm Sara from Italy!
It’s my first time as a Workawayer, but I’m really excited to see new things and share. I’m a fashion designer based in Milan, but I’m taking a couple of month break to explore.
Lately I’ve been very drawn to be near the sea. Days at the sea have been the best of the year for all my life. I just came back to Milan, after living in Germany for six months and now I have this big desire to see a lot of blue, smell some salty air and enjoy life at the seaside, whether in a city, town or (ideally) on a boat. I took a sailing course three years ago, which I absolutely loved and I’ve been sailing a bit with my aunt's family.
I graduated last year in Fashion design and I’ve been working as a designer ever since. I am very creative, and kind of into all the sorts of crafts, but most of all I love to draw. Illustration is my favorite thing ever and I am my self, a big picture book collector. This leads me to say that I really enjoy being around kids, seeing them.
I adore cooking, in facts I run a small supper club with my best friend in the city. We have a bunch of fun, it’s a very creative outlet and out cooking style is very whimsical and joyful. I truly believe cooking for people is a huge act of kindness and I love how humbling and rewarding it is.
I really cannot wait to start my journey!

I would describe myself as a really creative person. Most of all, I love drawing. It''s easy to find me illustrating and sketching in my journal. As a fashion designer, I love clothes, sewing and painting. I'm a big picture books collector, I love kiddish illustrations and I like being around kids too. I have babysitted my little cousins for a long time.
One of my very big passions, is cooking. In Milan, I run a small supper club with my best friend. I'd really like to learn how to cook different meals,
