Hi! My name’s Sam and I’m 25 years old. I love exploring nature and travelling to new places. So far I’ve spent time travelling around Asia and Europe and I’m eager to see more of the world!
I have a big passion for taking photos, especially black and white photography. I want to use my time travelling to hone my skills and expand my portfolio.
In my spare time I love to go bouldering at my local centre and would really enjoy any opportunity to climb outdoors.
I'm a big animal lover having had a variety pets over the years, ranging from gerbils and fish to a rabbit and 2 cats. I'd be grateful to learn anything about animal welfare, especially how to rescue and rehabilitate them!
I'm also interested in self sustainability because in the future I want to be able to build/renovate my own house and provide food for myself in the countryside. Therefore, I'm trying to get as much relevant knowledge around house building/maintenance, gardening and vegetable growing and raising and caring for animals. I'd also appreciate any tips that would help me achieve this in the most eco friendly way possible.

I’ve worked in retail for the last six and a half years, so I’m very comfortable with helping people in a social environment.
Due to the nature of the job I'm a very adaptable person and have to work with a wide variety of people as well as on my own. I'm a great communicator and am a well organised person.
I want to use Workaway to gain more knowledge and skills, especially in building, gardening, crafting and self sustainability. Because of this I will be happy to take on any work and will do it to the best of my ability.
I also love cooking and enjoy experimenting with the food I make. I've been cooking all my own meals for the past 5 years and will be happy to share any knowledge or skills I have picked up.

A very sincere and quiet worker, who, after being introduced to a task, seemed to enjoy working on his own or in a small team as well.
He did a great job in building a DJ pedestal with natural stones, clay mortar and chestnut wood.
