Hey! I'm Rocio, an Argentinian girl traveling around South East Asia. I lived in Australia for the past 5 years but decided to leave and explore more of the world. I worked as a support worker with both kids and adults, and I’ve always had a passion for traveling and experiencing different cultures. I’ve been traveling for a while now, but I’m looking to do it in a different way and make a positive impact wherever I go. I’m really keen on getting to know the culture more deeply, especially when it comes to working with kids and communities. I’ve done some volunteering already, but I’m new to Workaway.

I’m super into outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, swimming, and just connecting with nature. I also love drawing, singing, and anything artsy. I’d say I’m open-minded and always excited to learn about new cultures and ways of life. :)

I have a bachellor degree in advertisement, and I am currently studying pshycology in an online university. I worked in marketing for a couple of years. During my years living in Australia, I did a lot of different jobs, such as farming, construction and hospitality. For the last two years and a half I have been working as a support worker with kids and adults with disabilities and mental health.
During my travels, I volunteered teaching english to kids, also I did wall painting and board and signs paintings for hostels and bars. My english is proficient and I speak native spanish.
Also I volunteered doing social media and business planning.

I really like outdoor sports activities. I like cycling, running, trail running, swimming, climbing, surfing and all I am open to try any other outdoor activities. I love animals and living outside, that is why I feel comfortable in farms or really small towns.
I like drawing and painting and doing general crafts activities.
I am learning how to play ukelele as I really like music as well.
I do morning yoga. I am interested in politics, in cultures.
I like to play board games, such as chess (learning), catan, and argentinian games.
