Hey there!
We are Anni & Robin :)

Anni:
My name is Ann-Kathrin but my friends call me Anni. I grew up in a small town near Stuttgart, Germany with my parents and my two siblings. After I finished my final exams I travelled to Ireland and the UK and did some travelling as well as some workaway jobs. From 2019 to 2023 I studied Social Work in Würzburg where Robin and I met. After my degree I started working in a social institution with women that suffer from mental illness. In march 2025 I resigned my job to fulfill my dream to build my own campervan by converting a VW Caddy.

Before my studies I traveled in Ireland and England for almost a year. All of my hosts were from workaway and I made lots of great experiences.
Mostly I stayed with families and took care of their children and did some minor housework. One host was a Bed & Breakfast where I took care of the guests and the rooms.
My trip also brought me to a horseriding farm with people with special needs in Northern Ireland. Cleaning the stables, leading the horses, dealing with the clients and some light handywork like painting was my main job.

Some infos about me:
I'm 25 years old and speak english and german fluently, also some light french and spanish.
I like to do sports like yoga, fitness, swimming, play the guitar or meet my friends. One of my favorite hobbies is baking and I like to read some good books, too. I like cooking and most of my dishes are edible, at least thats what people tell me:)
In my hometown in Germany I was a member of "foodsharing" where we collaborate with supermarkets and collect food that normally would be thrown away.

Robin:
My name is Robin, some people call me Bob (no one knows why) and last year I finished my apprenticeship as a gardener at the Botanical Garden in Würzburg. After that I went to Switzerland to work as a receptionist in a ski resort. My job was to manage the bookings, do the check-ins and checkouts and try to fulfil all the guests' wishes. There I had some time to learn to snowboard and enjoy the beauty of a winter wonderland.

Before my training I went to Australia for almost a year and worked on an apple farm for six months. I worked in the fields and helped picking, pruning and thinning the apple trees.
In between my travels to Australia and my studies, I worked several jobs in Würzburg, Germany, including service, postman and retail salesman.

Some information about me:
I'm 27 years old and grew up in a small village in Bavaria with my parents and two older brothers. I speak English and German fluently and I'm trying my best with my Spanish skills on duolingo :) I like being outdoors and doing all kinds of sports like table tennis, football, frisbee and meeting my friends. I like building things and taking care of my parents' garden. I can cook decent meals and like to have a good recipe to rely on. Apart from my active side, I like to do some yoga, meditate or just watch a good film.

One of our joined interest is the love of animals, especially dogs. We did some dog-sitting and were a member of our local animal shelter in Würzburg.

In April and May 2025 we converted a VW Caddy into our small home which we are living in now. Starting in June we travelled through the beautiful Provence and along the french coast. In the Normandie we had a host for 2 weeks, where we did some gardening, building, animal care and mostly weeding. In August we stayed at the lovely Ile d'Oleron, where we did some daily blackberry-picking and really improved our surfing skills. Now we have two surfboards on the roof and travel along the best surf spots on the spanish north coast until we arrive in Portugal. There we want to stay for as long as we like and hope to find some good hosts.
We both enjoy having a job that keeps us busy and gives our day a purpose. As we both have experience of working for and with different people and jobs, we are able to adapt to different working environments. This is what makes it exciting for us.
