Travelling through Japan!

Beschreibung

Hey, my name's Riley and my partners name is Josie! We’re a couple from Australia currently traveling through Japan on a Working Holiday Visa!

We’re both fit and healthy individuals that live a very active lifestyle. We love being outdoors spending our spare time surfing, running, hiking, gardening, diving, snowboarding, travelling, playing sport, taking photos, cooking, playing music or doing anything else that excites us!

We've both worked on farms before helping look after live stock, manage crops, servicing tools and equipment, setup irrigation systems and general property maintenance.
Our passion for farming has branched to learning more about natural, self sufficient farming methods such as permaculture, food forests and companion planting. We're both very interested in learning more about traditional farming practices while also experiencing authentic Japanese culture.

We’ve both got extensive knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry running a ski lodge and working in restaurants / cafes managing front of house duties, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning, serving and bartending. Having previous experience working in multiple small businesses has given us a good understanding of the operations involved in order to be successful.

We have both volunteered in the past on multiple occasions and love helping the community!

We’re both very reliable and diligent individuals who know how to work hard while having fun at the same time. We’re an easy going and respectful couple who are very independent and adaptable.

We can offer skills in the following areas:

Farming / Gardening - general maintenance, crop management, operating machinery, garden care, pruning, weeding, helping with live stock, running irrigation, composting, soil monitoring, etc.

Photography & Videography - content creation, photo & video editing, creative skills.

Digital skills - social media posting, website design, editing software, digital marketing.

Hospitality - front of house duties, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning.

Working with Children - helping with education, playing games, being a good role model.

Volunteer Experience helping children and underprivileged members of the community.

Both very clean and tidy so can help with any general housework such as cleaning, washing, tidying up, gardening, DIY projects, etc.

Both have Manual Drivers License with International Drivers Permit

We're both very enthusiastic and versatile, capable of working with a team or individually.
Thoughtful towards others and intuitive in working environments, we’re easily adaptable to different situations.
