We're a family of 2 and a half individuals: Ania, Evrim and Kısmet the cat. Currently looking to explore Portugal and/or Spain with our camper van starting mid November.

Until meeting each other during and thanks to Covid in 2022 we were both working as brokers in the agriculture (Evrim) and stone (Ania) industries. We enjoyed making money and we were good at it. As our relationship evolved our priorities shifted and it became clear that we were no longer able to dedicate our time and effort to something we didn't find meaningful. In 2023 we bought a camper van and travelled around the Balkans. It was during that trip that we realized how little we actually needed to be happy. On the last night of our stay at the pyramids in Bosnia we were visited by a little ginger sweetheart that immediately took a liking to us (and vice versa) and wouldn't leave the van. With such an adventurous cat on board there was no way we could keep on living in an apartment building in the middle of Warsaw. That's how we ended up moving to the countryside. At first we rented a house with pond in the back yard. But other than the beavers occupying the pond we virtually had no neighbours. As appealing as it seemed at first we soon started feeling lonely there. That's how a need for having a community was born. That's how we realized the value of relationships and learnt to treasure them. When you live in the city there's a lot you take for granted - people included. After 2 years in the countryside we can't imagine ever moving back to the city. We love being close to nature and enjoy a much slower yet more flavoursome life. Driven by the desire to be a part of something and create meaningful connections with like-minded people we've recently purchased a piece of land in the forest within an ecovillage in central Poland. We spent most of the summer working the land, clearing space for a motorhome, weeding, planting, working with wood. It's all new to us and we'd love to get some hands on experience in the areas of permaculture, syntropic agroforestry, green building, renewable energy. We both enjoy physical work and learning new things. We are also trying out different ways of creative expression. The one we'd like to explore most right now is music.

    Ania:
Curiosity and excitement are the two main driving forces in my life. I love learning new skills, connecting with people of different cultures and backgrounds. I've lived in the UK, Brazil and the Philippines. I generally thrive on novelty. I find happiness in little things in life such as the smell of a forest after the rain or a gentle caress of the sun on my skin. I get a sense of fulfilment from helping and inspiring others. I have a creative mind and consider myself a good problem solver.

A few years ago I discovered Ren Xue - a life cultivation system that brought about an improvement to my health and expansion of consciousness. Its key component is Yuan Qigong - a set of 9 mindful movement, meditation and healing methods which have the potential to transform the body, energy (Qi) and attain realization and wisdom. I'm a certified Yuan Gong practitioner and I love sharing these beautiful life-changing practices with others and seeing the positive impact on their lives.
I also enjoy singing, dancing, cooking and playing frescobol.

    Evrim:
I like working with wood doing all sorts of DIY projects. And when I work I work hard. Sometimes even too hard :) Always up for learning new things. I love upcycling and the satisfaction that comes with giving used items another life. I've been told I'm a great cook. I'm also into reading, tufting rugs and basketball (I used to play semi-professionally). I enjoy meeting people with different visions and a sense of humour. But I also value my time alone. In my spare time I like to take walks in the forest, dance, play frescobol.

    Kısmet:
Generally super chill. Enjoys an occasional hunt as well as long naps on any human's lap. Frisky adventurer with an affectionate streak. Used to having other animals around.
