Beschreibung

We are a couple of musicians/singers/composers and jacks of all trades leading a semi nomadic lifestyle.

We both have a lot of experience in agriculture and permaculture, including years of WWOOFing, studies in agroecology, and owning and managing a farm.

Rebecca is a skilled cook, excelling in improvising with whatever is to hand. She is also a yoga teacher, bodyworker and holistic therapist. She is currently interested in practising cooking world food and health food for groups, making music, language exchanges and giving holistic therapy sessions.

Steven is a skilled carpenter and handiman (construction, mechanics, electricity), as well as a beekeeper, sound engineer, part time stay at home dad, and ex truck driver. He has recently had a serious back accident and can't carry heavy loads, but that doesn't stop him from fixing everything he can get his hands on.

We are looking for exchanges for up to 3 weeks, where we can put our skills to good use, and in a natural environment where we can park our vans (in which we live). We can each offer up to 15 hours of work a week, as we also work remotely.

We love learning new skills and sharing our own!

We travel with a well behaved dog and very occasionally with Steven's two children (6 and 8).

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Rebecca:
Fluent English (mother tongue), french and Spanish.
Beginner-intermediate Italian.
Basic German.

15 years experience in agroecology and community projects, including co-running a farm (plus studies in organic agriculture and permaculture).

10 years cooking for groups and communities including working as a head chef in a hotel and having a small independent catering business.

Trained bodyworker, yoga teacher and mind-body therapist, 8 years professional experience (self employed).

Violinist, singer, guitar, composition and music production.

Steven :

French as mother tongue, basic English.

25 years experience in carpentry (including being a team leader and being self employed)

10 years experience as a professional truck driver.

Good agricultural skills. 6 years owning and managing own farm (1 hectar, sheep, goats, donkeys, hens, ducks, garden, mechanised crops and haymaking, bees).

Established beekeeper with 5 years experience.

Self taught and good skills in all manual domains, including construction, electricity, and mechanics.

Self taught sound engineer, singer, harmonica player, and percussionist in the making.
