Hi!

We are a young married couple from Los Angeles, CA. Nick is taking a short sabbatical from his job as an entertainment attorney, and Raleigh just completed graduate school for public health.

We met while studying abroad in London, UK and have explored the world together ever since, including Italy, the Azorean islands, the middle East, Mexico, and several US road trips. In 2017, we became TEFL (teach english as a foreign language) certified and spent a semester teaching English in rural northern Thailand.

In 2019, Raleigh did a 4 month workaway in Italy, as a nanny and English tutor for a lovely family in Parma. We both have extensive childcare experience, having worked as babysitters, preschool teachers and camp counselors as well as English educators.

We're passionate about art, food, wine, books, and the environment. We don't currently have pets of our own, but frequently house-sit and dog-sit within our community.

We are looking forward to connecting with new people and forging new natural and interpersonal experiences

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I have 10+ years of extensive childcare experience, from infancy to high schoolers. I have been a babysitter, camp counselor, nanny, and preschool teacher. I am CPR certified and take child safety very seriously. I love working with children because it helps me see the world through different eyes.

I have been TEFL (teaching english as a foreign language) certified since 2017, and have experience teaching English to children and adults in both conversational and formal (classroom) settings. I have taught english to learners from Somalia, Italy and Thailand.

I am also an experienced pet and housesitter, and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, cats and general housekeeping and cleaning.
