Beschreibung
We are Kellen and Rachael. We have a deep love for this world and all that walk through her. Rachael works at a small goat dairy and landscapes, and Kellen owns a small energy and housing consulting practice, and formerly has worked as a baker and cook. We are from a small town on the west coast of the United States, near Seattle.
We love to gather people together in intentional celebrations, usually centered around food or exploration. We are passionate about building community. In our travel abroad we hope to open our eyes to other ways of being, to see more clearly how interconnected this world is.
We love growing our food, raising goats, sheep, and pigs, roasting our own coffee, mushroom foraging, hiking in the hills, biking for work and fun, singing songs with friends, and playing with kids.

Was könntest du arbeiten?
We are experienced gardeners; Rachael earned her Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and has been working as a landscaper for some years, utilizing permaculture techniques. We are lucky to grow much of the food that we eat.
Kellen has worked for over ten years in the food industry, and has run his own bakery. His current energy and housing work is analytical and policy oriented, and could be helpful to some hosts who are interested in developing a more 'off-grid' home.
We are also interested in construction or helping in whatever area needs attention. We have basic carpentry skills and have experience with power tools.
We’re flexible and believe that this experience will be mutual for you and ourselves!

Rachael speaks Spanish, but it’s been some time since she's used it with native speakers. Kellen speaks a little Spanish, and is practicing. We are practicing with friends to prepare.
