Beschreibung
Aloha I am a 64 year old mother of 4 adult children and grandmother to 12 amazing grandchildren. My husband Bill and I have been married for 34 years. We have lived on an acre and half on the Big Island of Hawaii for the last 36 years in an off grid homestead with solar power, water catchment system and propane appliances. We have a small orchard and gardens and keep chickens and goats on our property. I have been a teacher of young children most of my adult life as well and for the last 20 years a Waldorf trained kinder teacher. I am starting a new private daycare program next year and have decided to travel before we begin and complete my lifelong wish to visit Italy. I am passionate about gardening, dancing, swimming, anthroposophy, crafting, and Hawaiian culture/chant/hula. I was raised by my grandparents both who immigrated from Italy in the 1930's and never returned. I have wanted to visit where they grew up my entire life. My friend Julia will be meeting up with me in Italy and we will be working together. We are neighbors the last 15 years and good sister friends. She is 55 years old, loves to sing and dance and laugh and be in nature connection and cooperate and cocreate with other humans, to grow and make food, to create beauty, to play, to help each other, to be with elders and children, to improve systems to promote the health of all life.
