Beschreibung

Hi! We are Pili and Nagu, an argentinean/italian couple who met in Australia 3 years ago and create memories around the world together since then. We've worked in many 4-5 Star hotels in housekeeping, reception and restaurant. I (Pili) did years of babysitting as well, and I'm a Professional Photographer and Videographer. Nagu is a Massage Therapist and worked in construction companies too. We're very hard working and kind hearted, volunteered for years. We appreciate very much those who take the time to read our description, we read all the ones we apply to too :)

UPDATE 20-JUNE 2025

We're looking for a volunteering opportunity in Europe where we can set our residence and declare our couple. Italy changed it's law last month while we were getting our italian citizenship, and I (Pili) got it before but Nagu wasn't finished yet. So his only way now of staying with me is if I declare him as my partner, otherwise he has to leave Europe in 3 weeks. They're not allowing me to do it in my town in Italy because it's a new law and they're figuring it out, and we don't know what to do. We're highly committed volunteers and will put our hearts to your project that's for sure. If there's anyone out there that could help us we'd very much appreciate the informacion.

We rescued 4 newborn kittens while doing a Workaway (+ details in "What Else" section) and we're looking for a host that's happy to receive us all together. We know finding a host can be harder with them but we're hopeful we can find people that have the same empathy towards them that we had.

Pili: I'm a professional Photographer and Documentary Filmmaker since 2015, actually focusing my films in nature and wildlife protection and human rights. Dream of working with Disney/Nat Geo :) Worked as a Film Teacher to kids at schools and volunteered for years in a Marine Wildlife Rescue Center. Love spending time in nature, swimming or diving the ocean, or listening to a forest. I play the piano, and enjoy making music and painting. Usually meditate and practice yoga every time I have the chance, but would love to get better at it! While walking my dog in the mountains at home or hugging my family, I feel blessed.

Nagu: I grew up in a farm surrounded by forests and mountains in the south of Argentina (Patagonia). Helped my family as I grew up doing harvests, feeding the animals, taking care of the forest and the house. I became afterwards an Holistic Massage Therapist, and worked for 10 years with that. I love reading, diving and travelling. I've also worked many seasons cooking in restaurants, and as a Landscaping Team Leader in Australia an New Zealand. I volunteered for almost a year in Thailand.

We both worked in Housekeeping and Reception roles in many 4 and 5 star hotels around Australia, France and Italy since 2022. Have tons of experience in gardening, painting, can handle equipment and help with construction as well.

Pili:
- University Degree and 8 yrs of experience as a Photographer and Videographer
- 2 yrs of experience as a babysitter in 3 languages with references if desired
- Since 2022, worked as a housekeeper and receptionist in many 4-5 star hotels
- Volunteered 2yrs in animal care
- Can paint, make music and any art happily to help any artistic/decoration project.
- Travel with my own camera gear, drone and Go Pro
I’m very detailed in what I do. All of this activities make me very happy, I would really like to have beautiful volunteer experiences through this site and to help doing what I know and love.

Nagu:
- 10 years as an Independent Massage Therapist + Spa in a 5 star hotel
- 5 years as Head Gardener and Landscaper in many companies around Oceania
- 5 seasons working in Food and Beverage (waiter, cooking)
- Worked in painting and building companies for a year in Australia
- Many seasons in New Zealand doing fruit harvests (kiwis, apples, olives)
- 2 seasons as a housekeeper in 4-5 star hotels
I'm strong and determined, very efficient and focused. Proactive and resistant, good at having a global vision of each project. Can lift heavy objects, handle gardening tools and equipment and work alone/in teams/directing teams.

Was noch ...

Kitties travelling Plot Twist: As soon as we arrived to Italy last year 4 tiny kittens were born prematurely in a farm we were volunteering at. The cat left them immediately and we found no one in the island to help them, so we took them and raised them. We knew travelling could get harder with them, migration is enough hard itself, and didn't even know how to feed them. But love is strong and we're blessed to say they all survived healthy and extremely affectionate :) They were tiny miracles that made our travels both happier and also easier, because we met the most loving people on the way who helped us every time we were in need, and to whom we'll be forever grateful.

(Pili) Random stuff: I deeply love playing games, the ones I already know and learning new ones. I’m a great sister to kids, can play for hours. I enjoy musical and artistic environments, activities in nature, meditation and yoga. I enjoy being with myself, and also sharing special moments and honest bonds. I like desserts more than food. I could sit in the beach watching whales and dolphins pass by forever, love diving and I dream of learning how to sail. Enjoy all sorts of music and find it easy to play instruments. I can stay all night talking about things I care about, love watching movies but usually fall asleep if it’s nighttime :) I still didn’t settle but dream with a tiny house in the forest with big windows and a glassy ceiling, or a treehouse. I find it easy to help but hard to ask for it, so I’ll always offer a hand to you. And somehow I always manage to see the bright side. Rainbow is my favourite colour.

(Nagu): I have a twin sister, love snorkeling and diving, and believe cooking is a healthy way of doing therapy. Same as walking barefoot or reading a book. Always need to have one with me though. I love looking for tiny shells in the beach, or spending silent time in a forest. I like training and swimming, a lot.
