Hello, my name is Philin! I am 24 years old and from Germany.
I live in Gießen (a city near Frankfurt). I just finished my studies in primary school teaching.
I will start my traineeship at a school in may. Before I do that I want to spent my time exploring different parts of Spain, Portugal and Morocco via bus, train and ferry.

After I finished school I did a volunteer year in South Africa and I really enjoyed it. I met a lot of different people and places and formed close relationships. It was a great experience and it helped me to figure out what I wanted to study and who I want to be. To discover new people, places and different ways of living is something which gives me great joy.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

In 2021 I had my very first experience with workaway. Together with my sister I stayed at a beautiful Quinta in Portugal. I loved it and learned some stuffs in gardening, harvesting and permaculture and met very nice people.
My parents grow their own vegetables and fruit and sell them at a farmers market. So I have some experience with farming and harvesting.
In everyday life I am a positive person, I like to laugh and spend time with my friends and family. In my free time I like to spend time in nature and go on hikes, etc.
I also work in a vegan/vegetarian café and also love to explore with new and healthy ingredients in the kitchen at home
