Beschreibung

Hello we are Patricia and Markus! Two adventurous volunteers traveling the world!
During our travels our plan is to learn about foreign cultures and lifestyles, and explore the surrounding nature. We share a great amount of interests such as diving/freediving, climbing, hiking, gardening and cooking. Learning new things from other people is what motivates us to challenge ourselves and look for new places to travel. We’re passionate about sustainability and strive towards a sustainable lifestyle through volunteering together with likeminded people. Volunteering with people and animals brings us an abundance of joy knowing that we made a difference and contributed to a good cause. We love animal life and how rewarding it is to work with them. One main goal for our travels is to be helping animals and learn more about how to make an impact for their lives.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I (Patricia) consider myself social, driven, thoughtful and open minded. I love to learn new skills and I would say I’m a quick learner. I believe I can contribute to your establishment by working hard, being attentive and independent. At my latest volunteering endeavor I confidently supervised a group of volunteers with varying personalities. I worked on a lot of different farm related projects, gardening, feeding animals etc.

I retain a great amount of experience within the tourism and hospitality industries and I intend to keep learning as much as I can during my travels. Back home in Sweden I am a high achieving tour guide bringing joy to my guests by putting on a show, telling jokes, and informing about the history of Gothenburg whilst driving around an amphibious bus.

Previously I’ve worked at a café as an Attendant for 3 years. I was trusted with a great amount of varying responsibilities. The ones I enjoyed the most were training new employees, welcoming guests, and serving meals to the table or drinks and coffee from the bar.

I (Markus) consider myself as a calm, stable but straightforward kind of person. I have always loved the outdoors and all the wonders it provides. I enjoy taking on new challenges to see myself learn and grow confident. At my latest volunteering endeavor I gained an immense amount of experience on a farm in Western Australia. I contributed to the farm with tons of handyman work and touring guests through the farm. I tended to their animals, garden and worked through the production process of chestnuts from harvest to food production.

I previously worked as a programmer for a game development company for two years. I worked with teams of varying disciplines and often took charge in more technical challenges. I am confident in working with anything technology related.

I worked at a Cafe for 3 years where I played an important role in managing everyday tasks. I supervised the employees and made orders when needed. I also worked as a cook, waiter, and in the bar.
