Beschreibung

Hi there! We are Patricio and Daniela, but everybody calls us Pato and Dani. We come from San Luis, a small place in the middle of Argentina, where people love spending the day in the riverside with friends or family while drinking mate (an Argentinian drink, for sure you have seen Messi with a cup and a straw, yeah that´s the one we are talking about).
You can always find us outside, we love being outdoors, walking barefoot, climbing mountains or trees, smell flowers or swimming in the river. When we are not out there, we are making our own cinema series, reading, playing some board-games or planning our next adventure.
Our curiosity for the world, far away countries, different cultures and languages that confuse our brain inside-out made us jump into a plane and take off somewhere on the other side of the planet.
But it is not our aim just to simple go around falling for the beauty of ancient cultures or admiring the breath-taking landscapes of the world, we also want to get to know local communities and be able to make a possitive contribution. We want to compromise with something bigger than ourselves, we would like to live our life making a good impact with anything we do and we are ready to learn from anybody who would like to share their wisdom with us, and ready to help with their projects consciously as well.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

🌱Patricio is an Agronomist, has many years of experience working in horticulture and farming. He had volunteer in organic farms in Argentina. We both worked in farming with crops and animals in New Zealand, we are not afraid of hard work and working outdoors.

♻ Daniela has a degree in International Relations, and experience of teaching in university. She has also experience teaching about climate change issues across the world to high school students. She has taken part in a project to rise awarness about climate change issues in Latin America. Patricio had hosted school and college students in a local horticultural project and taught them about the techniques to grow the crops.

🦜We are both fluent in English and Spanish, Daniela can also speak intermediate German.

👩‍🏫👨‍🏫We are very interested in teaching languages or environmental knowledge in schools. Our aim is to be part of projects that contribute to local communities and children.

🔧 Patricio is very good with his hands, he loves working with bicycles. He is interested in helping with maintenance and building tasks, he is also interested in learning about local building techniques.

✏ Daniela loves writing and painting, and keen to share spaces where she can create with others. She is very fond of macramé.

👩‍💻🙋‍♀️ We both have experience working with people and customer support. We know how to use social media and computers, and we are keen to help and teach people how to use them. Daniela has experience working as a community manager.

🌼 We have experience in gardening and composting. We would love to learn about local herbs and flora. We are very interested in learning about permaculture and eco-friendly ways of building, farming and living. We look forward to sharing all our knowledge and taking home what we can learn to improve our home-place and promote a more sustainable and communal way of living.

Was noch ...

-We are passionate outdoor people, hiking and exploring nature is one of our main hobbies.
-We enjoy also to chill while playing cards or board games, reading, watching movies and listeninig to music. We are very curious about new instruments.
-We are keen to learn carpentry and any other handicrafts!
-One of our more important moments of the day is having a family meal, where we talk and share stories.
