Wowza! Let's see in the last 4 years I've experienced do many things. Four extended trips to Brazil has given me a functional command of the language. Covid happened. I spent the days of quarantine on a beautiful ranch in Vermont. I served as a program coordinator for a long term recovery and mental health program. Talk about learning. In 2021 I moved to Alaska. The summer was spent chasing sights of whales and beautiful nature. In the fall i began a career in the health field. I am currently continuing my path into healthcare through continued education. Before the full courseload begins I wanted to take some time to travel in service.

It is amazing how much you can learn and grow in two years. Long term travels and extended trips began for me in India in 2017 and continued is a major way from then on. I am confident in my choice to continue to travel and immerse myself in various communities. It is it's own form of education.

Some of the things that I have learned that are helpful to share for for those making the selection of which volunteers to host;

- I am truly an all rounder. If there is a project or clear goal set I am able to learn and help to contribute towards making it a reality.
-Community is a beautiful thing. There are so many ways to communicate and learn from each other.
-Ideas become reality with dedication and discipline
- We can do it!
- I love creative expression! Let's dance
-Love is the answer
-Kindness doesn't cost anything
-Learning doesn't stop until we have passed form this human experience

I have had many opportunities to volunteer with various organizations in the past few years. I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of Tennessee in 2012. I then attended culinary school at Johnson & Wales University to become a certified chef. Despite my training I have used much of my time to support many non-profit organizations in their efforts.

I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures. Learning all that I can along the way. I am currently volunteering in Mcleodganj teaching English and helping with a Childcare development program.
