My name is Sandra, 49 years old. I live in the North of The Netherlands in the province of Drenthe. I have my own small company (Stilgevoel.nl) where I work with therapy singing bowls which I use for giving massages and sessions for groups. I'm also doing a study to facilitate Biodanza. The study is 4 years and I can't wait to facilitate my own Biodanza groups. Dancing is a passion for me. Other things I love to do is travelling, working in my garden, cooking meals, read books, swim in nature the year around, walking in the woods with our dog, enjoy the path of live, meet up with other people. We have two daughters (19 and 15) who loves to travel and explore the world and meet other people too.

Hi I'm Norell. I'm a 15 year old girl from The Netherlands. I love to travel and exploring new things. I like to experience different cultures and meeting new friends. I love to take care of animals. We have a dog at home. We used to have a cat and a pony which I loved very much. I love to be in nature, especially near the coast. I play soccer. I'm in highschool and I´d like to learn new languages, especially Spanish. I speak English at a native speaking level. And ofcourse I speak Dutch. I'm a creative person.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Share your skills and ...)

Sandra:
We stayed for two weeks with Aijuna for our first workaway experience. My daughter needed to do an internship for high school for two weeks. To give her a special experience instead of doing the common we decided to work in an other country together. And it was such an amazing experience.

We are so grateful that Aijuna offered us this… read more opportunity. We were invited to stay at her house and we could rent her car to be mobile by ourselves.
She is so hospitable. We felt so welcome. It was not only working but we were also able to experience a part of her live. We got to meet her friends, we were invited to parties, we eat pizza, we went to a local concert and yoga.

Working at the farm was also a good experience. She does such a good job over there. I admire her perseverance. She works really hard and she also expect it from the workawayers. So we worked hard. But in between there was also the possibility to do some lighter work. Some of our work was helping to clear a piece of land from dead trees, wood, brambles etc. To create a new place for the mares near the farm. We helped taking care of the horses. We helped and learned how to prune the wineyard which was really nice to learn and to do.
Lunch and diner we prepared together at the farm or in the villa.

In our free time we explored the area. Aijunas niece was staying with her and she joined us which was really nice. Also because my daughter and she got along very well and had a lot of fun.

We would love to come back in the near future. Thanks Aijuna, Mila and Roman for the wonderful time and for your friendship ❤️

Norell:
I stayed at this farm for 2 weeks, together with my mom. The hospitality was very nice, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. Aijuna is a strong women who does what she sets her mind to. A true role model when it comes to hardwork. commitment to her goals and aspirations served as an inspiration throughout my stay. I got to take care of the horses and ride, but also a lot of other more physical activities. I met a lot of amazing people because Aijuna gave us the opportunity to take a look in the local life here. She took us to parties hosted by her friends or herself, to eat pizza and a concert. I am usually the type of person to become a bit homesick. But ajiunna really made me feel like I was at home. definitely a experience I will cherish.
