UPDATE:
After our amazing gap-year we are currently learning at universiti here, in Hungary, but we still love travelling and to meet with new people so we are planning to travel during the summer break.

Soma: Now I've been learning horticulture at university, and of course I like to work outside in the garden. Also I like animals and I have practice handling them. I have some building knowledge (mostly with wood), I work as a carpenter sometimes. As you can see I always choose to be outside! There were several times when we had to look after children and I alway found a way to understand each other, although there wasn't a common language at one time.
It's always good to learn new things. I think this is important, therefore I really like to try out new activities, techniques, etc.
I can communicate in English quite fluently, sometimes I have some problems with the grammar. I also learned Spanish, but I didn't use it a lot.

Nóra: I'm learning psychology at the university (but I'm still a very beginner, so don't expect anything professional from me  ). I really like cooking and learning new recipes, skills in the kitchen. I've already worked four times in a German camp-hill with people with disabilities (Lebens-und Arbeitsgemeinschaft Lautenbach ) near by Bodensee, where I learned much about open-mindedness and how to accept and handle unexpected situations. I like to get to know new people, but sometimes I also like to just sit somewhere alone and read a good
book or write my diary. I have a B2 German language exam and most of the time I can communicate in English too.

We are a young couple. In 2024 summer we took the final exam in a Waldorf high-school. Before going to university we would like to try ourselves at new things and discover, what really makes us interested. With this knowledge we want to choose our university or direction.
Both of us love to be in the nature, hiking, eat delicious food and explore new places. Moreover we gladly get to know new cultures, meet foreign people. Among others we are interested in bio-agriculture, and ready to learn about how it works. Sustainability and recycling are important things for us too, and we like to see new solutions and ideas in these areas, and if we can, show something new for you!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Thanks to Waldorf and a half year of Workaway experience we tried out a lot of activities and had the chance to practise them. We gladly do housework and gardening, anything outside. If it's necessary we love to look after children, Soma has a bigger experience in this topic. But we basically joyfully learn anything new, what is helpful to our host.

Soma: I learn fast in practice and easily master new techniques. I have some experience in renovations and wood-works around the house. I enjoy working with animals but mostly with plants, because I'm learning holticulture. I easily get along with children and I mostly love to be with them

Nóra: I cook with pleasure, with or without a recipe and work in the kitchen. According to others' opinions, I'm quite good at taking care of other people, or doing meticulous work, which requires patience. At a basic level I can use a sewing machine.

None of us is strictly vegetarian or vegan, but we're open to try these meals (Nóra usually prefers vegetarian).
