Hey there,
My name is Nils, I am 29 years old and from Germany.
In March 2023 I will finish my education as a High School teacher with sports and history as subjects after working 1 1/2 years at a German High School.

My plan is travelling through Middle- and South America starting in May/June 2023.

In August 2022 I did a voluntary project in Peru for one month at a provisional primary school. There I could improve my spanish level up to B1.

Since then I discovered this great opportunity as working as a volunteer and share and exchange experiences with other people all over the world in different projects. I would like to get in a cultural and language exchange and learn from each other with people that see the world in a positive way.

I prefer volunteering in projects that are situated in nature or especially next to beaches.
Related to the type of the activity in the project I am open for all kind of tasks.

I am especially fascinated by the rich culture and traditions of the Middle and South American Continent. Before start working fixed at a german school I want to use the opportunity to make some new experiences, challenge myself in different ways and discover this beautiful planet.

I am a friendly, open minded person. Although I would describe myself as a calm person I like to talk to and get to know people. In my opinion you treat people like you want yourself to be treated. Before I start working permanently I want to find out more about myself and how to cope with differents things and a different environment.
Also I would like to continue improving my spanish skills.
I like to be outside spending time in the nature and explore. I love sports and movement in general, it brings me joy. It does not matter which activity it is.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

- Education as a teacher for children in the age of 10-18, with the subjects sports and history.
- Working experience at a Primary school (3 Months) as a class teacher for a 3rd grade class.
- Working experience at a High School for 1 1/2 years teaching classes from 5th-12th grade.
- Working with disabled people for 6 Months.
- Volunteering at a provisional Primary School in Peru for one month.

I dont have much experience in practical things like painting, building stuff or gardening but I am motivated and willing to learn and help in this areas.


My english is not perfect but I can speak more or less fluent and definitely can help children learning the language.
I speak spanish at a basic level (B1) so that I am able to have easy conversations with spanish native people. One of my goals is to improve my language skills.

I am not a extroverted person but I like to work with people in different ways for example teaching. I would say that I am a pretty uncomplicated person who can arrange fast in different situations and also work well in a team or group.
Overall i see my strenght in working with people on an eductional project. But I am open to learn new things and will be motivated to help in any ways that are required like housework, painting, building, repairing things, etc.., but I dont have much experience in this fields.

I am not that bad in backgammon. Just kidding. I like to get in an exchange with nice and friendly people that have a positive view on life. I like to move, be in the nature and explore new things.
