Beschreibung

Hi! My name is Nina and I currently live in southern Germany. I’m about to finish my bachelor’s degree in social work and am excited to start traveling again afterwards.

In 2019, after finishing high school, I spent six months in New Zealand doing Work & Travel, mainly on farms with horses, sheep, and cows. I had planned to continue traveling to Canada, but Covid changed my plans. Now I’m finally picking that dream back up.

After finishing university in March, I plan to travel to Canada from August to October and then to Thailand in November and December. I usually prefer to stay around one month with each host, as I’ve found this to be a great timeframe to really connect, understand daily life, and be a reliable help.

I’m an open-minded, social, and curious person who loves being outdoors and working in nature. I’m physically fit, used to outdoor work in all kinds of weather, and I live a healthy lifestyle (non-smoker, no alcohol).

I’m looking forward to meeting new people, learning about different ways of life, exploring beautiful nature (preferably on horseback), and being a positive addition to your place for a little while.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’m very comfortable with farm life and a wide range of outdoor tasks. I have extensive experience in animal care, especially with horses and sheep. I’ve worked several lambing seasons with a shepherd and am confident with daily farm routines and physical work.

I’ve been riding horses since childhood. My main focus is on natural horsemanship and groundwork, as well as long trail rides. I usually ride western but also have experience with English equipment. I’ve worked with young horses, mainly from the ground, and feel confident handling horses in everyday stable life.

In addition to farm work, I have experience in hospitality and household tasks. I’ve worked in a B&B as a room cleaner, at a reception welcoming guests and helping with bookings, and I enjoy cooking, cleaning, and supporting daily routines where needed.

Through my studies and previous jobs, I’ve worked a lot with children and teenagers, including in challenging situations. I’m reliable, social, and adaptable, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and I enjoy contributing in a practical and supportive way.

Was noch ...

I prefer cozy evenings by the campfire or playing cards over nights out. I really enjoy being part of a community where people look out for each other. Respect and humor are very important to me — and I believe a good laugh or a heartfelt hug can be some of the best things people share.
