Beschreibung

Nicolle: vegan/vegetarian chef

I am a spontaneous open minded person with a broad work experience. Most of my working carreer I worked in the social domain. I am a generalist and used to do all kind of things in my jobs. From communication (website, pr etc), coaching, training, organising activities and all kind of other big and small things that need to be done at work.

Vegetarian and vegan cooking, has been my passion for more than 20 years. Lately it developed in a more professional way. On a daily basis I am used to cook for larger groups, 6 -23 persons. Last year I was responsible for the organisation, menu, shopping and preparing food for a festival over 150 persons. And recently I had an event, 12 days, 14 persons, diner and lunch. In this last case I was also responsible for the menu, shopping and off course the preparation of the food. I enjoyed every minute of it. Loved it and want to do it more offen!
I am also experienced in food processing, like making marmelade, chutney, hot sauces etc. Though my specilaty is making raw vegan pastries.

I am a very responsibe, organised person who likes to work hard. My basic attitude is characterised by respect for myself, other persons and my surroundings, motivating and assuming chances and opportunities. I also have a healthy dose of humor, empathy, self-knowledge and knowledge of people.

In my free time I love to sport (fitness, biking, walking), travel, work in the garden and read.

Domi: permaculture& reforestation

Although I finished my study as a social worker I felt more at ease in the artistic field, as a painter. To earn some extra mony I also worked as a bikemessenger. After a few years I had the oppertunity to start my own company. After 11 years I sold the company so that I could go on a trip to get some new experiences.

Since the start of our trip I worked at several permaculture and reforestation projects. A natural and simple lifestyle is a part of my task to help the environment and I developed skills to actively restore biodiversity. Since two and a half years I planted/ seeded hundreds of trees and pruned , watered, mulched a few thousand young trees. An other passion is landscaping, I found natural solutions to create a path in the forest or stairs on the hillside. I also constructed a garden area to protect a house against the wind. To paint or to be a help in construction was a frequently asked job I enjoyed also.

I love doing creative things, outdoor activities and sports.

Domi&Nicolle: since octobre 2021 we are travelling through Spain and Portugal in our van looking for new adventures, meeting new people and learning new skills. We are open for all kind of workaway jobs but especially for permaculture, cooking, selfsustainable life and healthy life.

We known each other quit some time, we have both our own qualitues and interests. Domi is the sportive guy and Nicolle is the foodie. We are a good team.
