Hello everyone,

I'm Nicole, a 22-year-old girl from Italy. My personality is often described as cheerful, outgoing, and welcoming. I love connecting with people, engaging in conversations, and discussions, although my sociability is balanced with moments of solitude, necessary for my personal recharge.

After finishing my studies, I decided to focus on a clear goal: learning the English language. Despite years of study, English is still a difficul for me and I don't feel comfortable speaking it. This is the main reason and focus of my experience with Workaway.

My departure is planned for February, and I am flexible with the duration of the stay; I aim to dedicate 5 months to this experience. I am open to have multiple experiences with different hosts or staying with one if the experience is particularly positive.

This will be my first experience with Workaway. I am versatile, ready to adapt and motivated by great enthusiasm. If tasks are explained to me, I learn quickly. I'm looking for a complete experience and personal enrichment, and the opportunity to contribute both professionally and personally. I hope to find someone willing to welcome me with linguistic patience and openness.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My passions are diverse, all fueled by the desire to express my manual skills. I am particularly attracted to handicrafts and ancient trades that preserve traditions. I have developed a passion for jewelry making, using the sewing machine to create clothing, embroidery, crochet, and knitting. I learned many of these skills by self-teaching,I have to admit that I don't excel in many of those. Another significant passion is working with clay; I had the opportunity to take a pottery course and hope to deepen this skill in the future.

Cooking, for me, is a way to express love for the people I care about. I love meeting my friends and cooking for them, although I usually stick to my favorite dishes. I recently graduated in restoration, taking courses in wood and canvas restoration, but specializing in paper restoration.

My camera is always with me wherever I go because I love capturing moments, people, and life experiences. I keep these memories in an external drive and sometimes create small short films using editing programs.
