Hello, my name is Nicole, I am 47 years old and orginally from Germany. My mum is British so I grew up bilingual. I am coming to Christchurch in April 2026 as an international student to study a Certificate 4 in Health and Wellbeing, the course goes for 1 year and then I would like to gain some work experience in that field. My course only starts in late July though which means I have a few months before that and I intend to spend them in the most meaningful way I can. I'd like to share some experiences and genuine deep conversations, I'm really not good at small talk.

In 2017 I came to Hobart, Tasmania, Australia as an international student to study a Bachelor degree. I have been here ever since, trying my best to figure out a way to stay and learning many lessons along the way. But my time here is coming to an end and I need to accept that.

I am British and German, I am very organised, efficient and persistent and I am happy to do all sorts of work, if I haven't done it before I'm confident that I am quite capable of learning it. Will definitely give it a go!

Was noch ...

The reason I am moving to Christchurch is that now a time in my life has come where things need to shift and new things need to start. I have worked in admin for the greatest part of my life and am very good at it. However I have been feeling for a while now that this organisational side of me needs to step back and make space for the caring side. If this means anything to anyone, the "wounded healer" in me has been activated and wants to be put to work. My time here in beautiful Tassie has been amazing and I have learnt so much but apart from having run out of options, I do also feel that the energy that once nurtured growth now is no longer serving me - and as much as I don't want it to, it is pushing me out of my comfort zone.

I look forward to this new stage of my life and during my travels to NZ in 2015 / holidays in 2023 and 2025, have started to get an idea of the energy of the land, which is so very different to the energy here.

I love animals and am very interested in "animal communication" (telepathic, not just verbal ;) ) and one day am hoping to pursue this more once I have finally settled somewhere. I am a very quiet and respectful person and have been mostly solitary during my time in Tasmania. But I sense this was a period of "gestation" and that it is about to change as I step into my light.
