Beschreibung

I am looking to live more sustainably, and believe that we can be happy with a minimum of food, water, air, and shelter.

My current lifestyle, and learning process, involves a combination of:
1) food and self reliance (permaculture, natural buildings, farming, low tech, cooking..). Have lived and worked in two permaculture farms in Thailand and Laos, and I did all types of tasks, from building up the solar system, building the compost, seeding, nurturing and harvesting, building natural buildings, etc..
2) and mindfulness (meditation, yoga (learning)..). I'm experienced with meditation and can share what I know.

I have a background in biomedical and aerospace engineering, and biotechnology, and during the last years I have been focusing on different aspects on human spaceflight. My last project managed by NASA involved building habitats for the moon and mars with mushrooms (mycelium). Before that I worked briefly in the Netherlands and Germany in the European Astronaut Center, where I had the opportunity to interact with astronauts from NASA (US), JAXA (Japan), CSA (Canada), Roscosmos (Russia) and ESA (Europe) on a daily basis. Also worked at a start-up vertical hydroponic farm in Denmark.

I love to travel and to live in different countries. Most importantly, I like to connect with people from different backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures. That makes me understand better what unites all of us, while appreciating what makes us unique too.
