Hello there 🌻

Nico here — 28 years old, always with a backpack and my camera !

I thrive on travel and the meaningful connections it brings ; whether it’s over a shared meal or drink, a hike, or a late-night conversation. My happiness comes from exploring new cultures, sharing stories, and embracing the unexpected. Curious, passionate, and easygoing, I love to explore, learn, and spread good vibes along the way 😊

Some of my most memorable experiences include spending Christmas in Vietnam, walking across Europe (from southern France to Denmark), and living for 9 months each in Canada and Malta. These adventures taught me the value of slowing down, listening, and fully immersing myself in the moment.

Now, I’m setting off on a road trip across Asia with one simple rule: Take My Time.
No rushing, just soaking in the cultures, landscapes, peoples and moments that make each place special.

Experienced with Couchsurfing, both as a host and a guest; this will be my firsts experiences with Workaway, and I’m excited to meet hosts and fellow Workawayers who value authenticity, curiosity, and the joy of discovery.

— VIDEO EDITING AND EVENTS MANAGEMENT —
Professionally, I have a background in video editing and cultural event management. I’m comfortable with filming, editing short videos, and creating content to capture meaningful moments or help promote a project or place. I’ve also helped organize cultural events and gatherings.

— FARM LIFE —
grew up on a farm, so I’m familiar with gardening, taking care of animals, and the rhythms of rural life. While I’m not a handyman expert, I’m a quick learner, reliable, and always ready to roll up my sleeves and help wherever needed.

— CHILDREN CARE & SAFETY —
I have strong experience working with children, including many years of babysitting with kids of different ages. I’ve also organized educational workshops and activities, and I feel very comfortable caring for children — playing with them, helping with homework, teaching, or simply creating a safe, fun, and curious environment. Used to being trusted with children’s safety and daily routines, and comfortable taking responsibility when needed.

— BEGINNER COOK —
I’m not a master chef, but I enjoy cooking and can prepare a few classic French recipes. I’m always happy to help in the kitchen and share meals together.
