We are a couple from south east England who came to Canada to do a season snowboarding. Now we're looking to see more of the country throughout spring /summer and are excited about the opportunity to help and meet people along the way.

I (Niamh) love to spend my time baking, cooking and pursuing creative outlets such as sewing and crocheting. Joe would always be outdoors if he could and loves all sports, chess and reading. Foraging is a hobby of ours back home so we're excited to explore the variety of nature that Canada has to offer.

We are new to Workaway and were recommended by friends here in Canada. We spent last summer travelling around South East Asia and thoroughly enjoyed staying in homestays and learning from the hosts we stayed with. For this reason we think Workaway would provide us a great opportunity to experience Canada how locals experience it, make some amazing memories and meet wonderful people along the way.

Joe
I have a degree in Human Biology and Behaviour, I am interested in psychology, archeology and how the body works. I have worked on salad farms and have experience driving tractors, forklifts, large delivery vans and using farm machinery to irrigate crops. More recently I worked as a painter decorator so I have skills in, flooring, tiling, painting etc. My passion and what I'd like to pursue in the future is teaching, and I am a qualified snowboard instructor.

Niamh
My degree was in Fashion and the majority of my professional experience is in this field, I've worked for a sustainable clothing brand in garment construction and more recently I worked as a seamstress repairing and tailoring customers clothes. I also have many years experience in housekeeping. Outside of work I bake frequently including sourdough weekly and love cooking for my friends and family so this is an area i'm always looking to learn more about.

We are not big drinkers or partiers, but do enjoy playing board games, going to see live music and movies of all kinds.
