I love doing creative stuff, such as crocheting, painting, photography. I extremely enjoy cooking and getting to know new cuisines. Sports like tennis, cycling and swimming is always a good option!

Beschreibung

Hello everybody!
I'm a 26 y/o teacher from Germany. My passion is traveling and getting in touch with the local community. That was my intention by joining the work away community. I'm an openminded, communicative and happy person that loves exchanging cultural (language, cuisine, habits) and personal knowledge (cooking, handcrafts...).
In the past years I already got the opportunity to live in different countries. It started off with a volunteering job in Costa Rica when I was 17. I lived in a family of 4 and enjoyed spending time with them and in my school project. After that I directly moved to Barcelona, Spain, where I was an AuPair in a family of 4 over the next 6 months. When I started my studies (German and Spanish teacher), I took the opportunity to move to Valencia, Spain, for a semester abroad. It was the best decision. I absolutely fell in love with the city and people!!
Last year I finished my masters degree in education and moved to Barcelona, to be a German teacher in a language school. On my way back to Germany I decided to go on a sailing trip with strangers. I spend 3 weeks on the sea, not having any sailing experience. We became a team, I learned a lot about sailing and myself, I cooked the meal for the crew and felt completely connected to nature, just like I never did before.
Now I started my work as a teacher and want to make use of my 6 weeks holiday in summer to make new memories. My wish is to improve my language skills in Spanish, get to know the Mexican culture, and meet people that hopefully become friends and visit me one day in Germany in return. :-)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I used to be an AuPair in Spain and will become a Spanish- and Germanteacher in secondary school, so I love being around children and teach them. Also I grew up with a grandma and dad who both owned a hotel. I consider myself a very social and communicative person that feels home in the touristic sector.
Cooking is one of my biggest passions. I enjoy combining new ingredients to create a special flavor experience!!!

Was noch ...

In my free time I mostly spend time with my friends, trying out new sports, new Bars and Cafés in my hometown Cologne. Cologne is a very diverse and vibrant city which I looooove.
Moreover I like to crochet, listen to music, plan weekend trips or visit friends all over Europe. :-)
My skills are definitely in socialwork such as working with kids, in the gastronomic or touristic sector. I'm a very tolerant, easy going, happy and friendly person. I Can't wait to meet you!
