Nel mese di GIUGNO ci serve una mano per la LEGATURA DELLA VIGNA
Lavoriamo dal 2005 sui nostri 24 ettari per ripristinare biodiversità ricreando un ecosistema che comprenda anche l’uomo.
Siamo a 350 metri sul livello del mare fuori dal centro abitato, a circa 6km dal mare, 15km dal cratere dell’Etna, 20km da Taormina e 30km da Catania. A cento metri si ferma la circumetnea, un piccolo treno che collega tutti i paesi intorno al vulcano.
Ci dedichiamo secondo i principi della permacultura alla cura di: agrumeto preesistente, vigneto, frutteto, oliveto e melograneto impiantati da qualche anno. L’orto sinergico quando riusciamo a curarlo è destinato principalmente all’autoconsumo e agli ospiti dell'agriturismo.
Vivono con noi gatti, cani, e un modesto pollaio quando riusciamo a risparmiarlo alla volpe.
Il centro aziendale è il vecchio palmento ristrutturato, e ospitiamo i turisti in tre mini appartamenti.
Il nostro obiettivo è trovare un modello di vita alternativo a quello urbano, senza rinnegare il progresso. Prestiamo attenzione al risparmio energetico, alla riduzione dei consumi e alla produzione di energia alternativa.
La gestione dell'agriturismo impegna buona parte del nostro tempo quindi in base ai periodi PUO' CAPITARE DI DOVER LAVORARE DA SOLI, ci fa comodo aiuto per la cura della casa, degli animali, dell'orto, e in base alle stagioni per legatura della vigna, potature e raccolti.
Quando abbiamo iniziato eravamo un piccolo gruppo di amici con il tempo ognuno ha preso strade diverse e siamo rimasti a gestire l'azienda agricola io (Cinzia) e Diego, OFFRIAMO OSPITALITà IN UNA CASETTA SEMPLICE con cucina, living e zona pranzo o in tenda, e PREDILIGIAMO LE LUNGHE PERMANENZE, e la capacità di essere autonomi e intraprendenti.
Cuciniamo preferibilmente alimenti locali di stagione e biologici, la nostra dieta è principalmente vegetariana. PROVVEDIAMO ALLA SPESA MA GENERALMENTE NON CONDIVIDIAMO I PASTI
Parliamo spagnolo, e ce la caviamo con l’inglese e un po di francese.

In JUNE we need help for work in the vineyard
We have been working since 2005 on our 24 hectares to restore biodiversity by recreating an ecosystem that also includes man.

We dedicate ourselves according to the principles of permaculture to the care of: pre-existing citrus grove, vineyard, orchard, olive grove and pomegranate planted for a few years. The synergistic vegetable garden when we manage to take care of it is mainly intended for self-consumption and for the guests of the farm.
Cats, dogs, and a modest chicken coop live with us when we manage to spare the fox.
The business center is the old renovated millstone, and we host tourists in three mini apartments.
Our goal is to find an alternative way of life to the urban one, without denying progress. We pay attention to energy saving, consumption reduction and alternative energy production.
The management of the farm takes a good part of our time so depending on the periods IT MAY HAPPEN THAT YOU HAVE TO WORK ALONE, we are conveniently helped to care for the house, the animals, the vegetable garden, and depending on the seasons for tying the vineyard. and harvest.
When we started a small group of friends with time each took different paths and we were left to manage the farm I (Cinzia) and Diego, WE OFFER OSPITALITY IN A SIMPLE HOUSE with kitchen, living and dining area or in a tent, and we prefer long stays, and the ability to be autonomous and enterprising.
We preferably cook local seasonal and organic food, our diet is mainly vegetarian. WE DO THE SHOPPING BUT GENERALLY WE DON'T SHARE MEALS.
We speak Spanish, and we get by with English and some French.
