Hi! I’m Svetlana.
I’m someone who thrives on movement, new experiences, and meaningful connections with people from all over the world. Two things have always been at the core of who I am: staying active and noticing the beauty around me—whether it’s untouched nature, charming architecture, or something thoughtfully created by human hands.
I spent several years working as a fitness coach, and I also have a background in architecture. That’s why I equally enjoy physical activity and creating beauty—through design, drawing, or handmade projects.
After years of living a stable, predictable life in Moscow, I decided to leave my job and completely change my lifestyle. My dream of living by the sea in a warm country and finding my own “place under the sun” finally pushed me to take the leap. For the past six months, I’ve been traveling, embracing a more mobile lifestyle, and exploring the world.
I don’t have much hands-on volunteering experience yet. So far, I’ve mostly been exploring the platform, planning, and figuring out what kind of projects truly inspire me. My goal for the coming year is to combine traveling with volunteering as much as possible. I’m excited to step outside my comfort zone, learn new skills, and challenge myself in completely unfamiliar environments.
At the same time, I’m actively developing my content creation skills. I love filming atmospheric videos, taking photos, and creating travel content. I’m looking for projects where I can improve these skills while also making a meaningful contribution through photos and videos.
The only thing that sometimes limits where I can go is visa requirements. Since I hold a Russian passport, some destinations take a bit more planning. But if a project truly inspires me, I’m always happy to do my best to obtain the necessary visa and make it happen.
I’m easygoing, responsible, adaptable, and I genuinely enjoy bringing positive energy to the places and people around me.

I’ve only learned English in my life (and it’s still far from perfect!), but now I feel curious to explore more. I’d love to learn Italian, maybe Spanish too , just to connect with people and places on a deeper level. I’m not a language teacher, but if someone wants to practice Russian, I’d be happy to do it together.

Was noch ...

Being outdoors is where I recharge. Over the years I’ve realized that nature is where I feel most alive. Mountains, hiking, and anything connected to water are an essential part of who I am.
Right now I’m learning to swim—which may sound surprising, but I’m still building confidence in the water. A few years ago I tried surfing in Sri Lanka and instantly fell in love with it. More recently, I discovered kitesurfing in Tarifa, and it completely blew my mind. I know it would be a huge challenge for me, but now it’s become one of my dreams to give it a try. That’s why I’m especially inspired by projects connected with surfing, kitesurfing, hiking, or simply life by the sea or the ocean.
I also love singing (people tell me I’m actually quite good!), I enjoy cooking and discovering local food, and I genuinely love meeting kind, open-minded people from different cultures.
My heart is open to movement, learning new skills, meaningful experiences, and great people. I’m truly excited for this new chapter of my life.
