Hi! My name is Abdurrhman, but everyone calls me Mo, and I’m 27. i have traveled 44 countries and I’m passionate about exploring the world, connecting with people from different cultures, and learning through hands-on experiences.

I’m about to start a 1000-day backpacking journey around the world, visiting 70 countries, volunteering, and picking up new skills along the way.

What motivates me most is helping others, contributing to communities, and experiencing life firsthand. I love all types of volunteering — from eco projects and farming to teaching, charity work, and cultural exchanges. I enjoy practical hands-on work like carpentry, painting, landscaping, and assisting in hospitality or community projects.

I’m also passionate about content creation and social media, sharing stories, and giving tips and hacks for travel. Exploring cities, hiking in nature, and learning from every place I visit brings me happiness. Meeting new people, connecting over shared experiences, and leaving a positive impact wherever I go are what inspire me every day.

I thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments, and I’m adaptable, hardworking, and open-minded. Whether it’s volunteering, learning new skills, or exploring new cultures, I always bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.

Skills & Experience

I bring a wide range of hands-on and professional skills developed across different countries and industries.

Hospitality & Food Service: Worked for 3 years in the USA as an assistant manager, chef, and in customer service, as well as dishwashing and kitchen support. Volunteered serving and cooking food in Syria and at an Indian temple in Oregon, USA.

Craftsmanship & Practical Work: 3 years of experience as a furniture upholsterer in Syria, plus 2 years in Egypt as a carpenter, furniture maker, and painter. I’ve also helped with house painting, landscaping, maintenance, and general repairs.

Logistics & Operations: Over 6 years in the USA handling shipping, receiving, packaging, and inventory management.

Entrepreneurial Work: Ran small side businesses in buying/selling phones and detailing/selling cars. Experienced in day trading the stock market for 3 years.

Tourism & Guiding: Volunteered as a guide in Oregon, taking people on hikes and explorations. Traveled to 44 countries, backpacked Europe for 3 months in 2024, and have lived in Yemen, Syria, Egypt, and the USA. I am beginning a 1000-day backpacking journey around the world in October 2025, exploring 70+ countries while volunteering and learning new skills.

Farming & Housekeeping: Assisted friends with farming tasks, housekeeping, and general help around the house.
