Heyy :)
My name is Emilia, but everyone calls me Mila – so feel free to do the same :)
I'm from Germany, born and raised in Berlin. I'm 23 years old and just graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work.
After four years of studying, I’m finally living out a long-time dream: traveling through South America! Right now, I’m planning to visit Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, and Colombia.
My journey just started in Chile, and I’m super excited to be traveling full-time for a longer period now. I used to travel during my semester breaks and realized how much I love discovering new places, connecting with people, and learning about different ways of life.
One of my goals is to improve my Spanish – and I believe the best way to do that is by immersing myself in daily life and local culture :)
In the past, I’ve worked mainly with children and gained a lot of experience through internships and different projects.
My experience includes working in a nursing home, volunteering on an organic farm, participating in after-school activities, supporting a residential home for children with disabilities, assisting a school in Myanmar and completing a university internship in child protection counseling.
I'm looking forward to meet you :)

I stayed with two friends for two weeks at Yani’s place, helping her recover after a fire that had destroyed much of her home. We rebuilt part of the greenhouse and prepared the soil with compost for new plants.
