From permaculture to animal care to physical work to customer care and tourism, I'm just happy to have new experience, grow from it and discover your culture!

Beschreibung

It's simple:
I want to invest my time in a great cause, I want to work, I want to develop new skills, I want to learn, i want to practice spanish, i want to meet people and i want to make the best out of this wonderful life that has been given to us!

This is what brought me to Work Away: my desire to improve myself and explore different cultures while giving back to the community!

I am a social worker: Helping others has always been in my nature. I am understanding and really optimistic.

I've been using Work Away to travel for a total of 7 months now, mostly in latin america: ya puedo decir que tengo un buen nivel de espanol!

Help me realise MY GOAL to improve myself and i will help you towards YOUR GOALS!

People say i'm a cheerful quick learner.
Social:
I am a certified Professionnal Social Worker.
I have experience in immigration and mental health, working mostly with adults, elderly and families.
I worked with people suffering from depression, schizophrenia, post-partum, grief, anxiety and much more.
Permaculture:
I've been iniciated to planting, pruning, mulching, harvesting and other tasks around the garden and farm
Childcare:
I also have a lot of experience in babysitting, petsitting and house sitting.
I started babysitting when I was 13 years old and it made me an idependent and responsible person at a young age while staying a kid at heart.
Animal care:
I also have experience with animal care and animal handling. I love reading and learning about animals. I worked
in a veterinary clinic in the past.
I also took dog training class as it is one of my biggest passion.
I also completed a brief online class called "First Aid for dogs" last year.
My professional goal is to be a zootherapist to combine my love of social work and animals.
Language:
I speak french, I did some tutoring for college students. I have an ease with writting and editing texts.
Other skills:
I love to work out so please don't mind my small figure! I'm not afraid of mud or sweat
I love nature, I've always helped around the house and garden
Some of my relatives own a small farm, I've been around farm animal in the past, helping with chores and animals

The ideal experience involves animals, wildlife, nature and eco-friendly project.
I would like to be around nice, friendly, open-minded people for cultural exchange.
I voluntered in the past in different organisations and events.
I like to cook in group and I enjoy discovering and trying new recipes.
I come from a very multiethnic and open-minded part of Canada, in the city of Montréal: I am really excited about this cultural exchange!
In my freetime, I enjoy cycling, walking, playing guitar, listening to music, painting, drawing, reading and watching documentaries! Life has so much to offer!
