Ich bin gerade

Hi, my name is Michael and I am a traveller at heart!
I like beeing in nature, explore it and feel free there.
I enjoy beeing with people, but rather be alone than with the wrong ones :p
The guitar is my instrument of choice, still learning it and mostly play it for myself!
I am born and raised german but speak englisch almost as good as german I´d say.
I do love animals very much and have a weak spot especially for dogs, so if your stay includes a Dog or other animals I am very happy to work with them, train them or just cuddle!
I got some xperience with dogs and I trained a rather complicated dog back in germany for a Family.

What am I looking for in a workaway?

I would like to find likeminded people to share dreams and live my life fulfilling those!
I want to learn about running a Business in tourism, learn how to teach my knowledge to other people!
I would love to learn about permaculture and in general how to work hand in hand with nature.
Also woodwork is something I´m highly interested in!
N1 and N2 on my bucketlist are:

Oups don´t forget about sailing! --> I´d LOVE to sail across the atlantic on a sailboat, or just to learn how to sail in general!

My experience:

I did a good bit of housekeeping, so basically hostel/Hotel/Campsite work.
Check in and out guests, prepare rooms, clean etc.
I worked as a sellsman in germany for a little while and in many restaurants, so I would say I know my way with guests :)
If in my field of interests I am a fast learner and highly interested in improving my skills.

Any questions, dont hesitate to ask me about anything.

Also, because of recent events on a workaway, I have to say that I am a person who can admit making mistakes. I take responsibillity an accountabillity if needed and I expect the Host and others to do the same. I expect from the Host just as I expect from myself to treat each other respectfully and acknowledge that we are all humans with our own minds and heart.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

As I mentioned above, I Worked a lot in Housekeeping meaning clean rooms (In my case glamping bell tents) strip beds clean everything and prepare for the check in. Also checking in and out guests.
Cleaning facilities properly and be around guests all the time since I lived on site all the time.
I worked in d2d sales for a while so beeing in contact with customers is and easy task for me and happens naturally.
If in my field of interest I am a very fast learner though I have to say I learn through mistakes, so thats something you should know probably. Thats one reason I am not a doctor :p
