Hello World! :)
So this is us Melissa & Alex!
Currently we are traveling for the next months or probably years.
So we're excited about adventures meeting people, and getting to know different cultures and landscapes.
We would describe ourself as open-minded persons, who like to get to know people and cultures.
So we like to socialize, for example by playing games on a chilly evening, going for a hike together or going out for party at night.
But we also need time by ourselfs thats why we love to spend time in nature.
Especially sleeping outside, or going for a hike always looking for adventures.
But also relaxing, reading a good book or just observing while sitting in a beautiful calm spot.
About workaway-experiences we am really exited.
At home we both work in the social area which is a lot of fun!
Now while travelling we're curious about trying out different things. Farming, gardening, working with animals......

Different languages are fascinating me.
I (Melissa) thought myself Portuguese and I'm always happy if I find somebody who I can talk to.
During my travells I'm always happy to find people who I can practice Capoeira (a brazilian martial arts) with.
So this was a lot of information about us.
But it's always better to get to know each other in person so we're looking foreward meeting you! :)

I'm always greatful for an opportunity practicing my Spanish and Portuguese. Also I could imagine teaching English or German for adults and children. At home I have supported adults and children in learning the German language. With teaching English so far I don't have any experience but I'm curious to try it out and to meet the challenge.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

At home I work in the social area. I have experience in taking care of children from working in a childcare center and in schools.
Als I worked in an assisted living for children and teenagers with special needs and acompanied organized travels for people with special needs in Germany and abroad.
So I like working with people.
Taking care of them, supporting them and to laugh with them.
Since I was a child I always had contact with animals.
Housepets , horses, animals at a farm....
In the past I participated once in a ecological farming project and really liked to work on the field.

I would describe myself as reliable and punctual.
Also I'm flexible and can adapt to situation and circumstances.
Also beeing spontaneously is something I learnd from working in the social area.

During my education as an educator I spent one year working in Spain with Erasmus+. And after I finished the education I did another Erasmus+ for three months on Malta. Both working in school and childcare center.
So I gained some experiences in working abroad.

Was noch ...

I do practice juggling.
So if I meet somebody who can teach me some new tricks or who likes do partner juggling I would be happy about it.
