Beschreibung

We are a couple who likes to find happiness in simple moments, spending time in nature, cooking a homemade meal or sharing a mate. We are motivated in learning practical skills that allow us to live more self-sufficiently and in harmony with natural cycles.

We are interested in learning permaculture, making respectful use of the resources nature already offers. Cooking is a big part of our lives, and we are especially curious about Nordic culture and traditions.

We love traveling to discover new ways of living, sharing daily life with others, and learning through doing, always with respect, curiosity, and enthusiasm.

Was noch ...

We love to spend time outdoors. We enjoy winter sports and hiking, and spend a lot of time cooking with natural and seasonal ingredients. We value honest conversations with people who show enthusiasm for what they do, and we appreciate the simple moments in life like sharing a mate or watching a sunset.

Meli has been working abroad as a professional cook for the last 6 years. She enjoys foraging and experimenting with fermentations and other preservation techniques. She is a plant lover and greatly values the medicinal power plants can offer, always learning about the local plants and how original cultures use them.

Joaco is an engineer that realized his office job was not for him and last year got a one way ticket to Italy to get more connected with his roots. During his travels he started dedicating more time to photography and videography, and through food and cooking started valueing a life more connected to nature and it's cycles.

We see in Norway an opportunity to learn a lot about the skills that matter to us, and in return, with hard work and love, we hope we can give something back to our host and his community.
