Hi, I’m Matteo, a Swiss traveler. I’m doing a 1 year trip around South America.
I always loved to travel, discover new places, new cultures, meet new people. I’m looking for authenticity and simplicity.
I’m also a big fan of the outdoors and nature, I left my engineering job because I was locked in, siting in front of a computer all day long and that wasn’t me.

I speak four languages (French, Spanish, English and a bit of Italian).
I have an engineering formation so I’m good with math and science in general. I studied engineering mainly because I enjoy finding solutions to complex problems.
I’m also very manual, I was part of a team of student who build an electric race car (real size race car). I was part of the aerodynamics division and we build all the aero kit in carbon fiber. We had to do the molds in wood using a large diversity of tools, from the small hand screwdriver to the CNC machining.
I actually love to work with my hands as much as with my head.
