Hi everyone!

I'm Matilde, I'm 23yo and I come from Italy, I consider myself as a very energetic and creative person. I'm currently studying Modern, comparative and postcolonial literatures at University of Bologna.
I made this profile because I enjoy very much this way of traveling, I love to explore more about other cultures and countries through a real connection with people. I had my first workaway experiences last summer and I couldn't have been happier, I have beautiful memories of the people I met, I was happy to help around and deeply grateful for being part of my hosts' life for a while.
I did a bunch of different things: from gardening, weeding, to deepcleaning, cooking, painting, working in renovation and so on. I also would love to get involved with social work!
I always appreciate developing new skills, I'm a quick lerner who loves new challenges and I'm keen to improve.
Looking for new hobbies is my fav activity and I love crafting things: I can crochet, knit, sew a little, I can do pottery, sometimes I paint or I make collages.
I'm independent and self-sufficient, I am a good cook (at least that's what they say), I can clean up after myself, I love put myself out of my comfort zone and being helpful to others! I take with responsibillity each task and I always try my best.

I love animals and I enjoy taking care of them. I also have experience in babysitting and it always brings me so much joy taking part of funny activities with children!
I really love talking long walks in nature and I would never be able to choose between mountains and the seaside, I love them both. I'm always up for a chat and boardgames, I enjoy very much sharing these kind of moments.

I've lived abroad on my own twice, in Scotland and Germany, therefore I'm adaptable to any situation and I can speak in English fluently, I have a descrete knowledge of German as well (I really need to get better at it ughhhh). I would also love to help anyone with learning italian or english, if you wish!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

they say I'm a great cook :)
I can take care of children, look after animals, do any kind of creative activity.
I am also quite strong for manual labour. In the past I got engaged with renovation projects including painting, building wooden ceilings, putting up gybsom panels, cutting and assembling wooden beams.
I did deep cleaning of all sorts and reorganization of space as well.
I'm also experienced with gardening, weeding, planting, eradicate old plants, building paths and so on.
I've also thought Italian and English so I can help with languages too.
I'm always up for new challenges and I am ready to learn new skills!

I consider myself as a honest person who is open to communication and confrontation in oder to maintain a respectful and peaceful environment.
I am currently trying to follow a vegetarian diet but I'm still flexible.
