Hello !!!

I am thrilled to be back on workaway for a project I've been dreaming about for two years now.

I went to Costa Rica alone two years ago and I discovered volunteer work in hostels, it was such a nice experience because I had the chance to meet many incredible people and to give a hand in welcoming places surrounded by beautiful landscapes.

I just graduated with a master's degree in cultural project management and cultural mediation. I did an aprenticeship meanwhile, so I really got the chance to learn a lot and have responsabilities in my organization. I was working with and for people aged 14 - 22 years old and I want to continue working with young people later !

Anyway, my goal since the beginning of this master was to head to Latin America again, with the idea of staying more time, going further south and discovering new ways of living, countries and histories.

I would like to be in nature and discover farm / house work within a community or a family. Having the opportunity to volunteer will also help me with Spanish. I can meet new people, learn new skills. Also as I will travel a long time in several countries, it will be very nice for me to settle for a while in one place and take time to relax, get habits, and get to know a region in depth.

Workaway is a nice opportunity to learn a language and to share the ones I know with other people. I have always loved learning about languages, I was in a English section in middle and high school, and I graduated with a language degree. My goal is to improve myself in Spanish considerably and I am REALLY motivated about it. I can speak basic Spanish and I understand quite well oral Spanish, but I have a lack of vocabulary and I really need to practise. One of my life goal is to live in Spain, so it's quite close to my heart to be more fluent. As for me, I can teach French, which is my mother tongue, but I also consider myself quite good in English, so helping with basic or intermediate English is possible :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

-> reception, tourist information, and reservations : I have worked for 3 summers in a row in a tourist office in Saint Hilaire de Riez, close from home
-> projet management : thanks to my master's degree and my aprenticeship, I know how to handle a project from its very beginning until the end
-> events : I love events organization, I already handled by my own a cultural program, training days, evenings, debates and projections
-> cultural mediation & animation : I created and animated games & trainings for people aged 14-30 years old
-> communication : I can write articles, handle a website (an easy website aha), animate social medias and create flyers
-> cooking : I'm not a professional cook, but I really enjoy cooking everyday, and I have worked for 3 summers in restaurant making fries, pizzas and burgers
-> cleaning : I have alrealy been doing volunteering in hostels where I cleaned the rooms
-> teamwork !

Was noch ...

I'm a very social person and I love to discuss, spend time with other people, discovering their habits and hobbies.

I can adapt easily, as I love to move, to talk, to party BUT I also like calm moments, reading, watching a movie, listening to music.

I discovered yoga (vinyasa) this year and I'd love to continue to practise.

I really want to learn more about farming and gardening during my trip, do some ground work and put my hands in dirt !

  I'm a vegetarian and I would like to keep this dietary during my trip, but if it's not possible in someplace I can adapt and eat some meat and fish every once in a while. (I enjoy meat, but I'm a vegetarian for ecological reasons)
