In winters usually I work in the Arctic region of Sweden,summer I am down south and rest I try to travel, live in beautiful corners of the world, hike and gain new experiences.

Beschreibung

What I realized after all the wobbliness in life and travelling and doing this and that, that I want to be outdoors under the sky, do yoga, grow food, eat good, be around animals and plants but also do something impactful for the people and the earth, something meaningful that makes a human or an animal or a piece of soil happy. I have done bunch of different things in different countries, and I do come from a sustainability background and I just want to have a colourful life with a lot of activities and good vibe people and green purple food.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

My name is Mary and I graduated with my second Masters in Tourism and Sustainability from Linnaeus University, Kalmar. I live in Sweden now. Before I used to live and study in the Netherlands and in between I travelled and lived in many many corners of this nice world from Asia, to West Africa and goes on. I am really fascinated by how different regions go about their food and one of the things I always do is to check out the markets and spice bazars to just learn. I am originally from Iran, born in Indonesia and I specially love the way Persians value food and spices as well. I am really passionate about sustainable agriculture and also marine conservation, trying to get involved with conservation but has been a bit tough. I have done projects and written some blogs about tourism and recently bout seaweed too. I just love what is going on in the food area now transforming the food system with tech innovation is mind blowing.
I have done a lot of work in eco lodges, so I would say one my skills is to help people get familiar with area, introducing them to outdoor activities, I like the whole hospitality field, its dynamic and you meet so many cool people. I also love writing and doing nerdy research about sustainable topics. A while back I got my certificate in Yoga from a cozy school in Sri Lanka, so I really want to develop my yoga skills further and open up a small herb and yoga studio with arts everywhere, o would be a dream to bring all the creatives in one place and do magic.
I really want to be involved and raise awareness and do something positive in my life, if it is for animals then great if its in a big field growing vegetables then also nice, if its a little region understanding indigenous knowledge and foraging then even more wonderful.
