Hi hosts, how are you? I'm Martina 27-year old- girl from Argentina. I arrived a few days ago to Australia with a one year visa and a lot of desire to know this country and specially its people.I have been backpacking since 2023, I spent almost two years getting to know Europe, having been lucky enough to do some other volunteer work in Ireland, Budapest and Croatia. Before that, I lived in the capital of Argentina, in a life a bit boring for my taste, working more than 9 hours a day as a corporate lawyer. In this new adventure of traveling around the world, I found new lifestyles that today are the ones I prefer to adapt: living more quietly, without rushing, enjoying the moment and taking the opportunity to constantly learn from people and experiences.
A little more about myself: I'm a vegetarian, I enjoy reading and doing simple things like sudoku at the beach. Also, I consider that staying up late chatting about life with a cup of tea or playing board games is one of the best plans in the world. I can also say that I am a very social person, that I love to interact with people, to explore new places and also, to beclose to animals.
I consider that having recently arrived in this country, the best thing I could do is to take the opportunity to volunteer and live a few days with local people, to learn about the Australian culture and lifestyle, and if its on a beautiful and quiet place near the beach, even better!
