Hello! My name is Mario, I’m from Spain and I will start a long-distance bicycle journey across Southern Africa on March 16th.

I travel slowly and independently, and I’m looking forward to meeting local people, learning from different cultures and contributing during my trip. Cycling allows me to experience places in a deeper way and connect with communities along the route.

I am responsible, physically active and used to solving practical problems while travelling. I can help with gardening, basic maintenance, painting, cleaning, cooking, helping in guesthouses or hostels, and taking care of animals. I’m also very organized and respectful of shared spaces.

I am open regarding the length of my stay, depending on the project and your needs. A safe place to store my bicycle is important for me.

I’m excited about sharing stories, learning new skills and being useful wherever I stay.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I’m physically active and used to being outdoors every day because of my long-distance cycling trip. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty and I’m happy to help with practical tasks.

In hostels, I can help with cleaning, organizing, basic maintenance, welcoming guests and creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I’m easygoing, respectful and comfortable in shared spaces.

On farms or rural places, I have hands-on experience: I worked for 5 years as a cheesemaker on a goat farm, so I can help with feeding animals, milking, cheese-making tasks, gardening, painting, general maintenance and any practical work needed. I enjoy physical work and learning new skills.

I’m reliable, adaptable and like to be useful. If I don’t know how to do something, I’m always willing to learn.
