Hey guys!
My name is Mariella, I live in a small town in Germany, and I recently completed my A-levels. On July 1st, my journey to Sweden started. I travel through the middle and southern parts of the country by car. I am excited to meet new people, hear about their storys, improve my skills and to broaden my horizon.

I have visited Sweden several times on vacation and absolutely loved it. Therefore, the country is very interesting to me, and I want to learn as much as possible about it and its culture.

In my free time, I play the guitar and sing. I also work as a mini-jobber at a small Italian restaurant and help my family with gardening and construction projects at our house.

My friends would describe me as a happy, curious, friendly, and calm person who is not afraid to help with any task and is always willing to get involved.

I speak German fluently, as it is my mother tongue, and I have an advanced level of English because I attend an advanced course at school. Unfortunately, Swedish is not one of the languages I speak well yet, but I am working on improving it and believe that with your help, it will be much easier! :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Besides school, I work at an Italian restaurant as a bartender and waitress, which is why I am experienced in connecting with people and customers (and the cocktails I prepare taste great!).
My family and I live in a house with a garden; therefore, I know how to mow lawns as well as plant, care for, and harvest plants.
My father enjoys doing building projects in and around the house, which is why I have often painted walls and fences, paved paths, and made objects out of wood. (The most recent project was a key holder.)
Two years ago, I did an internship at an upholstery, where I even made my own stool.

I have a cat named Trixie and love all other pets (except snakes and spiders), and I enjoy making- and listening to music.
I hope to meet many wonderful new people on my journey and to gain meaningful experiences that will enrich the rest of my life!
