Hi everyone !! :)

My name is Margaux, I come from Porspoder, a small village on the coast of Bittany, France.
I travelled around Europe, Asia and Oceania a few years ago before coming back home, settling down (or so I thought!) and becoming a pastry chef. I am now on the road again for more adventures.
I have a passion for food, especially the sweet kind. I love trying new flavors and recipes.
I am also very fond of nature. I do love wandering around, hiking, snorkelling, diving and I'm always down to discover any new activity, if you'd like to share yours with me !!
Back home I had the opportunity to participate in the creation of two shared veggie gardens. I am still just a beginner in gardening but i would love to learn more about it.


When coming back from travelling I bought a home and renovated it. I originally didn't have any skills about fixing up a house but I have learnt a lot thanks to more skilled friends and family members!

I am craving new adventures and meeting new people. I am a caring person, don't mind to get my hands dirty, always ready to learn new things and develop new skills

I'm looking forward to meeting, sharing and creating memories with you :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a professional pastry chef, and also love to cook savoury food. Discovering local flavours and dishes is one of my favourite things to do while traveling.

I'm a beginner at gardening but I am a quick learner. I have been gaining experience in renovating as well when fixing up a house I bought in Brittany.

I have been lucky enough to have multiple experiences through Workaway already. I helped taking care of alpagas in a wool farm in Brittany, assisted in a creation of a educational farm in Northern Corsica, cooked on a sailboat in French Polynesia,helped around several houses and gardens in southern Corsica or cared for pets in Japan.

While traveling overseas I also volunteered in a community vegan restaurant in Melbourne and in a wildlife shelter in Thailand, taking care of abused animals such as elephants, monkeys, dogs... I was also a school tutor for young migrants for a while back home. All those experiences were amazing and taught me a lot.

I am very fond of developing new skills in any kind of field, and I'd love to do that through experiences with you, always eager to help and learn !!
