Beschreibung

Hi everyone !! :)

My name is Margaux, former full-time traveller, now settled down in Plouguerneau, on the coast of Bittany, France.
I travelled around Europe, Asia and Oceania a few years ago, before coming back home and becoming a pastry chef.
I now try to keep travelling in France or Europe whenever I can. I have a passion for food, especially the sweet kind, and I love to try new flavors and recipes.
I am also fond of nature and animals. I do love hiking, exploring, gardening...
Back home I had the opportunity to participate in the creation of two shared veggie gardens. I am still just a beginner in gardening but i would love to learn more about it.

When coming back from travelling I also bought a home that I have been renovating ever since. I originally didn't have any skills about fixing up a house but I have learnt a lot thanks to more skilled friends and family members!

I am craving new adventures and meeting new people. I'm a smiling person, always ready to help and learn new things.

I'm looking forward to meeting, sharing and creating memories with you :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a professional pastry chef, and also love to cook savoury food. Discovering local flavours and dishes is one of my favourite things to do while traveling.

I'm a beginner at gardening, but I am a quick learner. I have been gaining experience in renovating as well when fixing up a house I bought in Brittany.

I have been lucky enough to have multiple experiences through Workaway already. I helped taking care of alpagas in a wool farm in Brittany, assisted in a creation of a educational farm in Northern Corsica, helped around several houses and gardens in southern Corsica etc.

While traveling overseas I also volunteered in a community vegan restaurant in Melbourne, Australia and in a wildlife shelter in Thailand, taking care of abused animals such as elephants, monkeys, dogs... All those experiences were amazing and taught me a lot.
I am very fond of developing new skills in any kind of field, and I'd love to do that through experiences with you, always eager to help and learn !!
